We are a team of ecologists, biologists, technicians and students that work together to achieve our goals in ecological restoration, conservation, environmental consulting, mentorship and public outreach in order to protect our significant wetlands, woodlands, watercourses and rare ecological communities.
We offer free initial consultations!
Please contact us to set up an appointment.
We are dedicated to the "Ecosystem Approach" method, that is, using the most appropriate science to determine the ecological function of an impacted system, rather than targeting the recovery of one or two species.
This will help us ensure;
1) the most appropriate ecological restoration methods are used, and
2) sustainable use of the restored ecosystem is maintained in a balanced and equitable way.
Our priorities are to mentor students, technicians and biologists in the "ecosystem approach" method, develop new tools to enhance efficiency in biological data collection, and continue to provide expert advice, stewardship, and public outreach.
Our mission is to maintain a thorough understanding of up-to-date scientific research, governing policies and land owner goals when developing practical and unique approaches to land management and habitat restoration.
We achieve this by maintaining collaborations with several organizations, including government, non-government, community groups, and academic parties.
We take a multidisciplinary approach to solving issues around land management and restoration of degraded ecosystems.
There is always a solution!

A well balanced ecosystem approach provides a positive outcome, so that future generations can enjoy what we have today.
"A thing is right when it tends to preserve the integrity, stability and beauty of the biotic community.
It is wrong when it tends otherwise." - Aldo Leopold
